Terms of service

These terms govern your use of txscribe (txscribe.ai), operated by txscribe AI. By using the service you agree to them.

Your content

You keep all rights to the files you upload and the transcripts produced from them. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your files and to pass them to the processors described in our privacy policy so they can be transcribed.

What you may upload

Only recordings you have the right to transcribe. Recording and transcribing other people can be regulated where you are; complying with that is your responsibility, not ours.

Accuracy

Transcripts, summaries and translations are produced by automated systems and will contain errors, including in ways that change meaning. Do not rely on them for anything consequential without checking them against the recording. The service is provided as is, without warranty.

Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Usage limits are described on the pricing page.

Introductory price

The first month of Pro costs $7. It applies once per account, to your first monthly Pro subscription, and not to yearly billing. After the first month the subscription renews at $15 a month until you cancel.

Refunds and disputes

If you were charged for something you did not mean to buy, write to support@txscribe.ai and say so, and we will sort it out with you directly. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank: a dispute takes weeks, and writing to us is usually faster.

Ending your use

You can stop using the service and delete your content at any time. We may suspend an account that is being used unlawfully or in a way that threatens the service for others.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced before they take effect.
